In Yoruba, Ayé is the living world: the realm where humans create, build, and leave something behind.

Ayeris is rooted in Ayé, the Yoruba word for the living world. The realm where humans create, build, and leave something behind. We added the -ris suffix, the sound of Solaris, Osiris, Polaris, to give the word the weight of something older than any one tradition.
